Movement. Mindset. Performance.
Hi, I’m Maxwell Robertson – founder of MaxWellness Cafe, personal trainer, and someone who’s been in elite sport since I was a kid.
I started out as a competitive gymnast, competiting at the English, Scottish, and British Championships. That discipline shaped my obsession with movement quality, resilience, and getting the most out of your body.
Today, I bring that same mindset to every client I coach – whether you’re training for a big event or just want to feel stronger in your day-to-day life.
What I Train For
I train by choosing challenges that demand discipline, humility, and consistency. After completing ultra-distance runs, Hyrox events, and functional fitness challenges, I’m now preparing for a beginner-level charity MMA fight – approaching it as a student, not a spectacle.
I know what it means to train with intent under pressure, and I help others do the same – at any level.
My Coaching Style
My sessions blend:
🕺 Movement & mobility at all levels
🏋️ Athletic strength training
💨 Hyrox-style endurance & power
🧘♂️ Postural & mobility drills for movement quality
🎯 Custom programming that adapts to your goals
I train people who want to move well, feel good, and build long-term momentum – not just short-term fixes.
📍Personal Trainer in Kentish Town
I work out of MaxWellness Cafe – my dream studio and community hub. Whether you’re prepping for Hyrox, getting into running, or rebuilding strength after a setback – we can build a plan that works.
Tested in Competition. Applied in Coaching.
Maxwell doesn’t teach resilience in theory. Each challenge tests the same principles he brings to personal training: strength, mobility, preparation and composure under pressure.
